- This synopsis is notification of the Fort Sill Contracting Offices intent to extend contract W9124L-04-C-0005, (Logistic Support Services), for a period of performance beginning 1 April 2010 30 September 2010, to the current contractor, World Technical Services, Inc., PO box 33069 Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73503. A competitive contract was awarded 1 August 2004 for Logistic Support Services, Fort Sill Oklahoma. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions of the existing contract. The contract type is a cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) contract. The extension will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Sill Installation pending award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for five (5) calendar days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension period would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
