- DESC:1055-01-070-1213, Part Number 13-12-129, The item to procure is a LAUNCHER, GRENADE, SMOKE SCREENING, RP M257 (NSN: 1055-01-070-1213) (PN:13-12-129) CONSISTS OF (1EA)-DISCHARGER CAP, (P/N 13-12-65), MOLDED FROM RUBBER, ETHYLENE PROPYLENE, GRADE 60, SPEC MIL-R-83285 AND (1EA)-SPACER, (P/N 13-12-290), MACHINED FROM PHENOLIC MOLDING COMPOUND, TYPE MFH, SPEC MIL-M-14 OR TYPE 9, SPEC ASTM D700 OR HIGH DENSITY POLYEHYLENE, TYPE III SPEC ASTM D1248. Requirements are 3YR IDIQ QTY RANGES WILL BE 1-50, 51-100, 101-300EA, M257 GRENADE LAUNCHER CAP. FOB is DESTINATION. FIRST ARTICLE TEST WILL BE REQUIRED. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Proposals will be evaluated on price and performance risk. Performance risk will be evaluated using the Past Performance Information Retrieval System Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) Estimated issue date is 15 March 2010. This solicitation wil be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: ROCK-TACOM-tdp@CONUS.army.mil.
