- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open basis, the following item: 1) TTL324 Tetherline, Qty: 2 EA; 2) TTS111 Tethersonde, Qty: 12 EA; 3) R3S911 Transducer, Qty: 12 EA: 4) TTD111 Deflation Device, Qty: 3 EA; 5) TTB329 Tether Balloon w/ Pouch, Qty: 3 EA. This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to Vaisala, Inc. 194 S. Taylor Avenue, Louisville, CO 80027-3024 as the only source that can produce these parts which will work in conjunction with existing hardware and software installed in the Propagation Effects Measurement System (PEMS). Any firms believing that they can provide the specific material listed above, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the material without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
