- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to San Juan County, Utah, to perform road maintenance pavement repairs and restoration on BIA Routes in the Northern portion of the Navajo Reservation. The BIA Routes serves the Navajo Nation residents in the Utah part of the Navajo Reservation and the BIA Roads identified are major collector roads in that part of the reservation. Due to the nature of the project and multiple jurisdictional issues, the accomplishment of the project is best left to one jurisdiction (e.g. San Juan County, Utah) to provide safe driving conditions for the traveling public on Bureau owned roads.
