- Solicitation Ag-03R6-S-10-0032 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-03R6-S-10-0032 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at https://www.acquisition.gov/far/. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561720. A quotation is requested for janitorial service for the West Fork Ranger District of the Bitterroot National Forest located 18 miles southwest of Darby,Montana at 6735 West Fork Rd.-- on the Bitterroot National Forest in Ravalli County. The contract includes all cleaning services for an Administration Building and Log Conference Building. The Administration building is approximately 7,000 square feet. The main floor area consists of 2 open areas, a kitchen, conference room, office, 2 entrance areas, and 2 restrooms. The upstairs area consists of 2 open areas, small office, dispatch room, and two restrooms. There is carpet in all areas, with vinyl in the restrooms and entrance areas. Log Conference Building: This building is located approximately 30 feet from the Administration Building and consists of 1 carpeted room approximately 520 square feet and one vinyl floor room approximately 160 square feet. A site visit is planned for Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 10 AM at the Administration Building of the West Fork Ranger Station. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price contract, with the contract service period for the base period of this contract taking place from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011. The Western Montana Acquisition Zone (WMAZ) serves as the Forest Service contracting office for Western Montana and is located in Missoula, MT. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers submitted must include past performance in janitorial service information, relevant experience, a quality control plan, and price. Contract award will be made to the offeror offering the best value considering past performance, experience and price. In addition, offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items or a printout of the first page of the ORCA website as proof of ORCA registration. The FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
