- Description
- The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division intends to issue solicitation, DJJE-10-RFP-0655, for trash and debris removal services at the Main Justice Building located at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20530. The scope of the required services includes all labor, management, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide trash and debris removal. The Government anticipates trash and debris hauling will occur two (2) to three (3) times per week with one (1) haul per day for the stationary compactor and on an as-needed basis for the open top container. The containers shall be picked up and returned between the hours of 4am and 6am. These services require the installation of one (1) stationary compactor container and one (1) open-top container. The stationary compactor container unit shall have a capacity of twenty (20) cubic yards. The hopper of the compactor, the open top container and the truck and accessories shall not exceed 123 inches in height, to include container material. This requirement is set-aside for small business concerns. The period of performance will be for one base year and four (4) one-year options. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111 with a size standard of $12M. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the proposal submission due date. It is estimated that this will occur in early April. However, further detailed information on the site visit including exact date, time and points of contact will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated solicitation will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps web site at www.FedBizOpps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition will also be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not an RFP or a promise to issue an RFP and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
