The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport will hold an Industry Day Thursday March 11, 2010 to present and discuss the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Surge Training Classroom needs. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport will be utilizing Navy ERP as of October 1, 2011. In support of the implementation effort, a large number of personnel will be required to be trained in a computer based classroom environment. It is estimated that up to nine classrooms with twenty-one computer based training seats are required to support the training requirement. The purpose of the Industry Day is to discuss the classroom requirements and determine if there are any interested parties that can provide the required turn key (physical classroom and web accessible computers) classroom capability. The classroom requirements will be presented and time will be allotted for a question and answer session. Potential training facilities must be located within a 30 mile radius from the Navel Undersea Warfare Center Newport, RI facility. Vendors are encouraged to participate if they feel that they can provide between 4 and 9 classrooms. The classrooms will be needed for approximately 6 months (1 July 2011 to 15 December 2012). To brief interested parties, NUWC will host this Industry Day, March 11, 2010 at its Undersea Collaboration and Technology Outreach Center, Building 80. Registration will start at 8:30AM and the presentations will begin at 9:00AM and end at approximately 10:30PM. The presentation agenda will include classroom requirements overview and question and answers discussions. Attendees must register by March 9, 2010.
