- FA8601-10-T-0121, High Frequency Direction Finding Receiver System DESCRIPTION: Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, 88 Contracting Squadron, 88 CONS/PKB, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, 45433. HIGH FREQUENCY DIRECTION FINDING RECEIVER SYSTEM: The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0121. The NAICS Code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 13.501(a). The proposed source is Agilent Technologies. The purchase is for a High Frequency Direction Finding (HFDF) Receiver System. Agilent Technologies is the only manufacturer capable of providing this machine and the other manufacturers cannot fulfill all the items outlined in the specifications. The HFDF Receiver system will support Research and Development in the state of the art intercept capability for RF signals. This receiver will be integrated with the current Signal Intercept and Collection System (RFSICS) that was purchased in 2006. The contractor will provide all necessary hardware and all associated control software and data acquisition software necessary. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within (Five) 5 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
