- 2/25/2010 The synopsis is amended to dissolve small business set-aside. The acquisition is unrestricted. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, replacement parts, equipment materials, transportation, transportation permits, and supervision necessary to perform preventive (scheduled) and remedial (unscheduled) maintenance services on Government owned Material Handling Equipment (MHE) located at Defense Distribution Center Puget Sound Bremeton, WA (DDPW) – Everett site. The request for quote will result in a combination of Firm-Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contract. The estimated period of performance will be for one base year and two one-year option periods. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 13. The government intends to award one contract to the responsible offeror who offers the overall lowest evaluated price. The solicitation will identify all information that the prospective offeror must submit in order to be considered for award. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 and the size standard is $7,000,000.00. To receive awards, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. The request for quote will identify all information that the prospective offeror must submit in order to be considered for award. Failure to submit all the information requested by the solicitation may result in the quote being eliminated from consideration for award. It is anticipated that RFQ SP330010Q0063 will be posted to this site the week of February 22, 2010. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under this RFQ. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the quote due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your quote ineligible for award
