- Recovery - NASA LaRC issued a Task Order to ATK Space Systems, Inc. against theIDIQ contract entitled Technology, Engineering and Aerospace Mission Support (TEAMS),contract number NNL07AA00B, for the project entitled Develop and Expand Expertise inMetroplex Concept Definition and Integrated Arrival/Departure Operations. Services tobe performed under this effort include the assessment of the benefits of the core SystemOriented Runway Management (SORM) capabilities as described in the SORM Concept ofOperations, and assessment of the applicability of the SORM algorithms and algorithmicfunctions to various operational environments and airport/air traffic operations. Thisorder was issued on a cost plus award fee basis in accordance with the basic contract. This effort is funded by ARRA funding and is in support of the NASA Aeronautics ResearchAirspace Systems Program.
