- SOLICITATION WITH LIST OF SAFETY AND OTHER RELATED ITEMS (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued under Request for Proposal (RFP) number W912L1-10-T-0014. All proposals shall reference the RFP number and shall be submitted by 1:00 P.M. local time on 10 March 2010. The anticipated award date is no later than 31 March 2010. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-27 dated 17 Sep 2008. (IV)This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns; however, the Government is accepting proposals from small business concerns and large businesses. In the event of insufficient small business concern participation (minimum of two), award may be made to participating large business. The North American Industry Classification system code (NAICS) 423490, size standard of 100 employees. (V) Contract line item and quantity: 0001, 1 lot (VI) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: Assorted items to include latex gloves, leather gloves, safety clothing and other assorted items required for crash recovery. (VII) Delivery: Reference solicitation. (VIII) The following provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial. (IX) PRICING: The vendor shall submit pricing. The proposed price shall include delivery to the Texas Air National Guard, 14657 Sneider Street, Bldg 1382, Houston, TX 77034-5582. Item numbers referenced are from a Lab Safety Catalog and should be used only to determine an "equal". The part numbers do not reflect "brand name specific" items. (X) FAR 52.212-3 (Alt 1), Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (Offerors shall include a completed copy as part of their quote or a completed registration on the ORCA website (https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx). (XI) 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: Commercial Items.
