- RECOVERYThis is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to complete the following: General construction services to complete hazardous abatement including asbestos, lead based paint and mold, electrical power upgrade, fire detection and suppression upgrade, new HVAC, communications upgrade, six new offices and two conference rooms, ADA upgrade that includes three restrooms, floor spaces, halls, doors, and hardware, painting, flooring, and ceilings, masonry repairs to include new plasters on walls and chimneys, carpentry repairs to include removal of exisiting skylights and flooring repairs, insulation, paint and hardware and access panels. The project performance period is 365 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business size standard is $14Million. The estimated price range for this project is between $1,00,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project is being solicited and awarded as an 8(a) competitive set-aside. Accordingly, it is open to SBA certified 8(a) businesses only. The solicitation will be posted to the websiteshttp://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 2nd, 2010.
