RFQ package. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT Statement of Work (SOW) INTRODUCTION Organization Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Training and Development (OTD) Leadership Development Center (LDC) Place(s) of Performance : Department of Homeland Security Immigration & Customs Enforcement Office of Training and Development Leadership Development Center 3860 West Northwest Highway, Suite 408 Dallas, TX 75220 Background The Office of Training and Development, Leadership Development Center's mission is to ensure ICE personnel are properly trained and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to conduct their assigned tasks in support of the ICE national security and law enforcement mission. Description of Work The ICE Office of Training and Development/Leadership Development Center has a requirement for four (4) General Clerks I for a six (6) month period of performance, with a three (3) month option period. These individuals will perform a full range of recurring assignments. The position will provide operational and clerical assistance in support of the Center's mission. Routine assignments will include logistical support to training classrooms, preparing student materials, inventory of supplies, and setting up meeting rooms. Scope of Work General Clerk I - Located in the Leadership Development Center (LDC) in Dallas, TX. Primary responsibility is clerical in nature. Photocopy class materials on copy machine and place in student binders. Prepare classrooms by putting out class binders/training materials, and any other requirements needed to complete classroom setup. Receive and unload boxes of office supplies, training materials, etc., and put away in supply rooms. Organize supply rooms, including training materials. Greet students and direct them to the appropriate classrooms when necessary. Clerks are punctual, proactive, self-motivated, anticipate challenges and work as a team to fulfill responsibilities. Secondary responsibilities include some minor housekeeping functions such as preparing and maintaining student classrooms and lounges, office space, and kitchens by regularly checking rooms throughout the day. This includes keeping area cleaned and straightened, making coffee and setting up tables with water and glasses. Throughout the day, replenishing coffee, water, snacks. When classes are finished for the day, the clerk will be responsible for wiping down tables, straightening up, and preparing classrooms for the next day. Picking up dirty dishes and placing them in dishwashers. Be visible and presentable to students. Dress is business casual. Contractor Work Schedule OTD LDC core hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with the exclusion of government holidays. Training sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude no later than 5:00 p.m. The four general clerks will be divided between two shifts with two general clerks present at each shift Monday through Friday with the exclusion of government holidays. Overtime must be authorized and approved in advance by the Deputy Assistant Director, Unit Chief, or Program Manager of the Leadership Development Center. A modification to the task order must be accomplished prior to any overtime being conducted. Shift One: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 2:00 pm (6.5hrs/shift with 1/2 hour lunch for a total of 32.5hrs/week) Shift Two: Monday through Friday 10:30 am - 5:30 pm (6.5hrs/shift with 1/2 hour lunch for a total of 32.5hrs/week)
