- Description
- The scope of work, item 1, Site Demolition is modified as follows: DEFINABLE FEATURES OF WORK •1. Site Demolition. The existing trellis system for the four rows shall be removed and disposed of. The four existing trellis rows consist of 8" diameter wooden poles approximately 12' to 16' long, a cable system built from ¾" cable, and a irrigation system containing a 1" solenoid valve and 1" black thin wall Poly Pipe. Each of the wood poles shall be completely removed. Plumbing systems are located at the East and West ends of each row. Measures shall be taken to protect these plumbing systems during the demolition and construction of the trellis system. The contractor will be responsible for removal of all irrigation components from the existing system and reinstallation of the irrigation system once the new trellis system is completed. Any plumbing, electrical or other utility systems damaged by the contractors, workers, equipment, or subcontractors during the construction of the trellis system will be repaired at the contractor's expense. Due date for quotations is extended until 1:00 PM EST, March 5, 2010.
