- This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as Service-disabled veteran-owned small firms, Veteran-owned firms, Hubzone firms, general small business firms and any other types or size of business relative to NAICS 621111, size standard $10.0 million capable of providing the following services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 22 Logistics Office (VISN22) is seeking sources for Gastroenterology Services via private Gastroenterology Practice Centers to be furnished by the Contractor for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), Los Angeles, California. Contractors shall provide Colonoscopy procedures in compliance with VA and JC Standards. VAGLAHS requires access to Gastroenterology Services in three specific geographical areas. It is required that Contractors be able to meet a radius restriction of not more than 6 miles in distance from VA Santa Maria Outpatient Clinic, VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center, and Los Angeles, CA (near Los Angeles International Airport LAX). The restrictions will enable VAGLAHS to better serve patient care needs by providing increased access and options for veterans residing in these communities. Facilities outside of the radius restrictions will not meet the needs of VAGLAHS. The contract will include a base year, with four (4) one-year renewal options to be exercised at the option of the Government. Responses to this sources sought announcement must include: 1. No solicitation is available at this time; this notice is to acquire information only. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a solicitation announcement that shall be published separately. The solicitation is expected to issue on or about April 1, 2010.
