- This notice is for informational purposes only. The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Slone Associates, Inc. for the purpose of performing refuse and recycling services. The period of performance will be 3 months, with the option to extend up to 3 months, until a new refuse and recycling contract can be awarded. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23rd Contracting Squardron's Justification and Approval of this sole-source procurement to Slone Associates, Inc. for a contract to continue refuse and recycling services on Moody AFB.
