Offerors planning to attend this conference must notify Margie Yeaton (803) 725-0239 (myeaton@fs.fed.us), Reid Carroll, (803) 725-0294 recarroll@fs.fed.us, or Liz Brooks (803) 725-0246 (elizabethbrooks@fs.fed.us) before 12 Mar 2010 at 1:00 p.m. When you call please provide name and social security number of persons coming to the conference along with the company name and phone number. Attendance is strongly encourage but not mandatory. The USDA Forest Service Savannah River has a requirement for Professional Forestry Support Services. The work includes but is not limited to Timber Cruising, Timber Marking, Timber Sale Administration, Common Stand Exams, inventories and other similar support services. Contractor will provide all equipment, labor materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform the required services within the boundaries of the DOE Savannah River Site. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Contract. The Government anticipates making multiple awards. The minimum guaranteed amount will be $2,000 for each contract and the maximum amount will be not to exceed $2 Million dollars over the life of all contracts. The performance period will be a basic period and four 12 month options. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. The size standard is $7 million under NAICS code 115310. This is a small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued on or around 19 Feb 2010. Savannah River Site is a restricted access Government facility and vehicle searches are done on all vehicles entering the Site. No contraband items, such as guns, ammunition, drugs etc. are allowed on Site. A picture ID of persons entering the Site is required A minimum of 72 hours is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. If a site visit is conducted it will be indicated when the solicitation is posted on this website. Contractors should pay close attention to the deadlines to submit information required to gain access for site visit included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7 and ORCA.
