Note: Shirts are required to be delivered within 14 days. Evaluation factors: Best Value (Product Demonstration Models, and Past Performance/Experience) Technical Merit carries more weight in the award evaluation process than price. Offerors will need to submit five (5) Product Demonstration Model (PDM): PDM1: Shirt, AF Man's L/S PDM2: Shirt, AF, Woman's, S/S PDM3: Shirt, Army Man's, L/S PDM4:Shirt, Army, Woman's, L/S PDM5: Shirt, MC, Man's, L/S This contract will be a Special Measurement Contract.Monthly requirements are minimal. Patterns for special measurements will be provided upon receipt of DD Form 1155 Order for Supplies. Contractor must maintain their own inventory of a wide array of fabrics, buttons, threads, etc. The standard pattern for the items request above can be found through DSCP web-based system. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
