- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeking Expressions of Interest Washington, DC The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), DC Service Center, 301 7 th Street, SW, Suite 2670, Washington, DC, 20407. The United States Government currently occupies 70,526 BOMA Rentable Square Feet (BRSF) of office and related space in a building under lease in Washington, DC, that expires on March 31, 2014. The Government has a requirement for an additional approximately 41,000 BRSF of office and related space. The total rentable space must yield a minimum of approximately 111,500 BRSF. The delineated area is the Central Employment Area to include the Waterfront and NOMA. Other requirements applicable to this requirement include: Proximity to Metrorail Security (i.e. lobby, loading dock access, parking, etc.) Proximity to the agency's Headquarters building located at 1120 Vermont Ave. Washington, DC The Government is considering whether to expand at the existing location or to relocate to alternative space that can meet the entire space requirement. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's entire requirement for approximately 48 months, as well as costs incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, non-productive agency downtime, rent payments on vacant space under the existing lease or cost of buyout, etc. Please send expressions of interest to: Monica Wright Realty Specialist General Services Administration 301 7 th Street, SW Room 2670 Washington, DC 20407 Phone: 202-401-2149 E-mail: monica.wright@gsa.gov Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address in writing by 5:00pm on March 7, 2010, and must include the following information: Building name and address. Building ownership information. Space available, it's location within the building and its condition (shell or built-out). Date of space availability. Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. ANSI/BOMA Office area Square feet (ABOASF) to be offered and expected rental rate per ABOASF, fully serviced. Method of rentable space measurement. List of building services and amenities provided, if any. The Government's decision regarding whether or not to solicit offers will be based, in part, on complete information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that a potential offeror fails to provide the required information, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government's requirements.
