- The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), 1636 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23461-2299 anticipates awarding a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to General Dynamics Land Systems (Cage Code 01417), 38500 Mound Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48310-3260 for the procurement of PANDUR maintenance and repair parts. Total cost of the contract is $255,274.52. Sole Source Justification: The Pandur 6x6 tactical Advanced Mobility armored personnel carrier vehicle was developed and manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch who is now owned by General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Michigan. There are no other known sources that can provide these proprietary rights specific to this variant of Pandur owned by NSWDG. The specific tolerances are required to work safely in this complex armored tactical vehicle. Award is anticipated on or about 8 March 2010.
