- SOLICITATION (Quotes are due by March 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm PT) THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY BULK LIFT / HELICOPTER BAG SUPPLY The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 10 has a requirement for a contractor to supply 600 bulk lift helicopter bags for the Tongass National Forest (Ketchikan Misty and Sitka Ranger District delivery locations). **THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS--QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED** Project Location and Description Six hundred bags are needed on the Tongass National Forest. 350 bags will be supplied and delivered to the Ketchikan Misty Ranger District Office at 3001 Tongass Avenue, Ketchikan AK 99901 and 250 bags will be supplied and delivered to the Sitka Ranger District Office at 2108 Halibut Point Road, Sitka, AK 99835. A sample bag is to be provided after contract award for approval prior to manufacture of the entire purchase quantity to ensure compliance with specifications. **NOTES** --Additional work details are outlined in the attached solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract(s) resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor(s) whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and price-related factors considered. The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Price of the supplies/materials – supplied and delivered to the specified locations. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 326111. The size standard is 500 employees. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from www.fbo.gov.
