- Terms & Conditions SF18 RFQ The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Prosser, WA has a requirement for a Semi Truck. Under consideration is a mechanically sound 1995, 325 HP, 10 speed, conventional day cab no sleeper, AC, Cruise control, engine Brake and tandem rear axles semi truck. The truck will be used to haul tractors and equipment on a 40-48 ft trailer lowboy with a weight between 30-40 tons. We are planning on trading in our 1980 N10 Volvo, 2 axles, 235HP Diesel turbo, 8 speed and 200,000 miles semi truck. We will consider proposals for alternate semi trucks based on best value to Government price and other factors. Proposals must include a description of the semi truck being offered, warrantees if any, transportation cost to our facility and pictures if available. We may want to have the semi truck inspected by a mechanic and a review of the maintenance records will assist us in making final determinations. Complete SF18 attached and return to FRED GIFFORD as listed in this notice. Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. On Wednesday March 3, 2010 10am at the USDA ARS PWA OFFICE 24106 N.
