- Date: February 25, 2010Closing Date: March 5, 2010 RFI: VA-701-10-RI-0026 From: VA, National Energy Business Center 4141 Rockside Road, Suite 110 Seven Hills, OH 44131 Contracting Officer: John Yallech Contracting Specialist: Valentino Rosas Email: John.Yallech@va.gov, Valentino.Rosas@va.gov The VA is seeking interested sources (contractors) to conduct the following tasks at the Cleveland (Wade Park Division) VA Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106 and the Cleveland (Brecksville Division) VA Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville OH 44141. Requirements include; Contractor shall completely provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and construction services necessary for selected energy conservation measures at both the Wade Park and Brecksville Divisions of the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Services include but are not limited too: 1.Lighting Upgrades, Hospital & Parking Garage 2.Install Engineering Control Center 3.Replace Defective Steam Traps 4.Install Condenser Pump, VFD Motor Controls 5.Install Destratification Fans, Atrium 6.Replace Failed DHW Steam Generators 7.Install Energy Misers, Vending Machines Construction will be completed by designs and drawings that will be supplied prior to solicitation (if applicable). Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it may or may not be synopsized in FBO. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor FBO for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, SDVOSB, VOSB or 8(a) set aside when using FBO. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: 1.All responses must include the following information: Company name and address, CAGE code, Dunn & Bradstreet number, Point-of-Contact name, phone number, facsimile number, and email address. The subject line of your response should clearly display the RFI number. 2.Please provide an electronic copy (CD or email) of your price schedules. 3.Please provide a summary description of at least three but no more than five contracts your company has performed for this same or similar requirement. Please identify whether you performed as a prime contractor, sub-contractor, teaming partner, or as a project manager. Please be specific and provide a complete reference to include at a minimum the project name, contract award amount and the project's owner contact information. 4.Please provide a list of construction pricing available under your current price listing. It is requested that interested contractors submit a response (electronic submission) of no more than five (5) pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum that addresses the above information to the POC below. Price schedules will not be counted in the page limit. All submissions must contain the RFI number in the subject line of the email. Submissions (electronic responses) shall be received by no later than March 5, 2010 at 4:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. At this time, no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A SOLICITATION.
