( X ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of _2/24/10____________. ( X ) The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. ( X ) Proposed procurement contains a 100 % option for increased quantities. Description: NSN 2930-01-264-3480 – Radiator, Engine Coolant, Heavy Duty being bought in accordance with Southwest Radiator Shop Inc (07GT9) P/N 2098 and Proliance International Inc (3E1T8) P/N 432098. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The required quantity is 194 EA each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and (W62G2T) Tracy, CA. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, and JWOD.
