- Defense Supply Center Philadelphia has a requirement for the Life Preserver Accessory Kit, Exterior Cover (LPU-36/P) which is under NSN 4220-01-487-5800. We anticipate an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a one (1) year base period with three (3) one (1) year options. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). Technical information and yearly estimated quantities are listed below. This procurement will be an unrestricted procurement with F.O.B. Destination to Defense Distribution Centers located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS). Inspection and Acceptance will take place at Origin. This item is non-competitive with Certificate of Quality Compliance, Quality Conformance Inspection and Product Verification Testing. The First Article Test will consist of 1 unit and will not be part of the Production quantity. The First Article Test unit will also not serve as a Manufacturing Standard. This NSN cites Bae Systems Aerospace & Defense (cage code 54786), part number 0110210-1, as the designated OEM for this item. Note 12 and 26 applies for this item. The required delivery schedule will be 175 days. The annual estimated quantity per delivery order, minimum quantity per delivery order and the maximum quantity per delivery order are as follows: AEQ - 475 MIN - 75 MAX - 1,000 Please note that the annual estimates may be revised at the time of the solicitation to provide the most accurate and up to date information possible. The solicitation once issued, will be posted onto DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will then be considered by DSCP. This solicitation will allow for a single award and evaluation will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
