- The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), plans to award a sole source contract modification to Kalmar RT Center LLC (KRTC), (Cage Code 1NWY2) for an additional effort of six (6) months for Eight Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to support the U.S. Armys fleet of Kalmar RT240 Rough Terrain Container Handlers (RTCHs) while this equipment is deployed in Southwest Asia (Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan). The period of performance is 01 Mar 2010 through 31 Aug 2010. The FSRs will provide assistance with fault isolation/diagnosis, technical inspections, maintenance and resolving operating issues. The FSRs shall carry out specialized repair activity (SRA) level repairs at forward operating base location(s) for tasks that would otherwise require the shipment of RTCHs to a CONUS-based KRTC repair facility. In addition to these duties the FSRs shall provide RT240 RTCH users/maintainers with on-site, follow-on operation and maintenance training on the Kalmar RT240 RTCHs.
