Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT:Daniel L. Corwin, Engineer, (732) 532-3724 This is a Market Survey to locate sources for a Horizontal Situation Indicator/Vertical Situation Indicator (HSI/VSI) primary flight displays (PFD) for the UH-60A/L platform. Ideally the HSI/VSI PFD selected should be able to plug and play with the current analog signals, replacing the existing attitude and heading reference systems with individual or combined multi-function display(s). The capability to accept additional inputs to include ARINC 429, Mil-STD 1553B, Ethernet, moving map, and FLIR Video is highly desireable. The replacement PFDs/MFD should fit the current form factor for the existingHSI/VSI PFDs (ID-2277/ID-2278), but removal of the existing center spacer to allow a combined display is anticipated. It needs to be able to display our current command instrument system as well as attitude reference data and heading reference data, and provide precision and non precision approach guidance. Also needed is the ability to display distances in kilometers (KM) or nautical miles (NM) and a brownout symbology set for future growth capability. It will have to be able to meet flight certification requirements as determined by the Army Aviation Engineering Directorate, including compliance with Flight Critical requirements IAW MIL-STD 461E as modified by ADS-37A and MIL-STD 810G and ADS-71. All software needs to be certified to DO 178B level A. Suppliers capable of manufacturing and delivering this item as specified above must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army CECOM LCMC, ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB (Corwin), Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. This Market Survey does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it guarantee any future contract. For more information contact Daniel L. Corwin at Daniel.Corwin@us.army.mil. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and not an offer for proposal. The deadline for response to this notice is 08 March 2010. daniel.corwin@us.army.mil
