Description
Statement of Work dated 23 February 2010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This procurement is for the repair and maintenance of Fitness equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Repair, maintenance, and calibration of this equipment is necessary to preclude unexpected interruptions in the use of the equipment located in the Fitness Center. A description of the effort is below: Contract Line Item 0001 Repair and Maintenance of Fitness Center Equipment in accordance with the attached SOW. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 811310, the size standard is $7M. The contract type anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 4:00 PM, Central Time, 26 February 2010. The solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38(effective 1 February 2010) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20091229. FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. WAWF procedures also apply. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies. Technical capability will be evaluated by how well the proposed product meets the government requirement instead of predetermined sub-factors. Evaluation Basis for Award: Award will be made to the offeror who has the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The period of performance is 12 months from date of award. Performance will be at Brooks City-Base, TX. A: Ray Melton Inc. 5) Q: Current contract value? A: $19,700 6) Q: Will there be a site visit? A: No, there will not be a site visit. However, Brooks City-Base is open to the public.
