- RECOVERY - PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of Pipe lining of the Lake Winfield Scott Dam Conduit. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located in the Blue Ridge Ranger District, Union County, GA. PRICE RANGE: $100,000 - $250,000. This acquisition is set-a-side for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, and DRAWINGS: The solicitation, AG-4419-S-10-0341 is now available for downloading at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ 1. THIS MODIFICATION MAKES THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK •“Project Description should read: “ Project Description The Lake Winfield Scott project consists of relining the existing 4 ft by 160 ft CMP conduit (instead of 4ft. by 60 ft.) •The Forest will lower the water level of the reservoir 8 feet once the Contractor has determined the start date. The Contractor shall maintain a siphon located in the overflow to provide a minimum flow of 30 gpm in the creek. 2. INFORMATION FOR VENDORS: The Forest is unable to place the video of the conduit’s inspection on the web, however; if a contractor would like a copy of the video they may contact the Forest at 770-297-2926 and one will be provided. 3. THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS IS EXTENDED TO 4:00 P.M. ON MARCH 12, 2010. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
