THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLEONLY TO STINGER GHAFFARIAN TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED (SGT, INC.) UNDER CONTRACT NUMBERNNA08CG83C FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT (ISRDS) AT NASA AMESRESEARCH CENTER (ARC) LOCATED AT MOFFETT FIELD, CA. THIS IS AUTHORIZED UNDER THEAMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA). ARC modified contract numberNNA08CG83C to fully fund Task Order 62 with ARRA funds. ARC issued Task Order 62, titledHealth Management Technologies Research & Development. Task Order 62 supports NASARecovery Act work sponsored by the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) andthe Aviation Safety Program (ASP). Research funded by Recovery Act within the ASP willfocus on developing innovative tools, concepts, methods, and technologies that willimprove the intrinsic safety attributes of current and future aircraft and aviationoperations. The Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) Project within the ASP isdeveloping tools, technologies, and techniques that automatically detect, diagnose, andpredict averse events such as component failures during flight. In support of theseefforts, the contractor shall provide large data sets, algorithms and models, and performsystems analysis studies that improve the ability of an aircraft to automatically monitorand manage its health, readiness or safety. This task will be funded by the RecoveryAct. The Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support (ISRDS) contract numberNNA08CG83C was made on a competitive basis. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
