- The USDA Forest Service, Region 8, will contract, on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity basis, for the installation of culverts on various Forest Service Roads on the Ouachita National Forest Request for Proposals, No. AG-447U-S-10-0016. The solicitation should be available on this website on or about Mar 11, 2010. Contract(s) awarded under the RFP will be for a firm fixed price contract with a base period plus four one-year option periods. The NAICS code is 237310, 33.5 million and is issued as unrestricted. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract provides for filling all actual requirements of the Ouachita National Forest for culvert installation during the contract period. The Government intends to make multiple awards and the Forest has been divided into six districts for the purpose of award: Jessieville/ Winona; Fourches; Mena/Oden; Caddo/Womble; Poteau/Cold Springs; and Oklahoma Ranger Districts. The work to be performed under this contract is comprised of installation of 18”, 24”, 30” and 36” diameter Aluminum Alloy corrugated steel pipe (AACSP) including all bedding and backfill required to complete the work; removal, and disposal of existing culverts off government property; and providing for proper inlet and outlet. The work consists of activities normally associated with culvert installation. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, supervision, materials, tools, and other incidentals to perform all work required to complete the culvert installations in reasonable close conformity with these specifications and attachments, and in accordance with provisions of the contract. The cost estimate is less than $100,000.00 per area per contract period. Total contract value for the life of the contract shall not exceed $1,000,000. Offeror must (1) be registered in CCR, CCR registration must be current and (2) must complete certifications and representations in ORCA in order to be eligible to submit a proposal.
