- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division anticipates entering into a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Contract with Harris Corporation, DBA Harris RF Communication, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610-1839. The anticipated contract will have a three-year ordering period, and include line items for various communication hardware and security components; specifically Harris Corp 117G Cable Assemblies and SECNET II Card Assemblies. Orders will be placed against the contract on a sole-source basis with Harris RF Communications. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Harris RF Communications has developed unique products and associated security cards that have direct applicability to system acquisition efforts of NSWC Crane. Harris RF Communications is the sole provider and proprietary owner of the various hardware systems and components that are currently fielded to the Army, Navy, Fleet Marine Force (FMF), and Air Force.
