- Description
- ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.5 to MMC Materials, Inc., PO Box 307, Jackson, MS 39205. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MMC Materials is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements due to the unique capability to provide support and service for this product. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later 11:00 am CST on 2 Mar 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this note. No RFP will be issued based upon the Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to melissa.a.keen@usace.army.mil with the solicitation number referenced in the subject line. Requirements are as follows: 6,000 psi 650~ Flex Concrete Must meet the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements for air field runway construction that is required for this project.
