- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: Contractor Name Bergmann/Hanson/HDR JV, Contract Number W912EK-09-D-0005 This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has awarded a firm fixed price task order modification for Preparation of Plans and Specifications for State Roads D5 at Lake Wappapello. The work involves having the Architect-Engineer provide complete engineering services for design, preparation of plans and specifications, material quantities and budgetary cost estimates for the state road relocation (roadway and RCP culverts only) designated as D-5. The cause of this modification is beyond the control of the A-E and without their fault or negligence. Subsequent to award of the task order, the Government determined that design of a box culvert should be added to the work required.
