Description
Remove and replace sections of existing concrete curb/gutters, sidewall, cross gutter and four existing handicap parking concrete ramps. Remove one existing concrete handicap ramp, curb and abutted sidewalk and replace with full depth (8 inches thick) concrete slaps on grade paving, Remove temporary asphalt cold patch materials. Provide polymer-modified emulsified asphalt slurry micro-surfacing paving two course system, or provide thermo-plastic coal tar emulsion slurry to the parking lot areas including the driveway gutters and cross-gutters. Total small business set-aside estimate price range; between $100,000 and $300, 000 To be considered for award of this project the contract must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (website www.ccr.gov) To be place on the mailing list, please submit a request in writing via e-mail to c.o.shepard@faa.gov or fax to (816) 329-3118. This notice is for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program 9STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
