Description
The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials and equipment to renovate three Engine Instrument and Control Panels, with instruments, sensors, transmitters, wiring, plumbing, Program Logic Controller (PLC), and all accessories necessary to provide needed input and output to monitor and control three existing Waukesha 12 Cylinder Model L5792DSU series Diesel Engines, replacement of the Station Control Center Alarm Annunciator panel and the Remote Alarm Panel in the stations office, replacement of 8 High Bay lights with High Bay HID Lights, 208VAC, required minimum illuminance of 32 foot candles, and replacement of 6 emergency lighting fixtures. The Engine Instrument and Control Panels and the Station Control Center Alarm Annunciator Panel are located inside the station and the Remote Alarm Annunciator Panel is located inside the office. All equipment provided shall be standard products of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the manufacturing of such products, which are of a similar material, design and workmanship. Removal of old Engine Instrument and Control Panels will be the responsibility of the Contractor which includes all existing sensors, wiring and plumbing. There are (20) sheets in the set of drawings. This project will be Unrestricted Procurement with Hubzone Price Evaluation Preference for small business concerns. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $13.0 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 238210. This estimated cost of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Solicitation will issue on/about 11 March 2010 and bid opening date will be on/about 13 April 2010. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award.
