- The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Princeton Instruments, on other than full and open competitive basis a contract for 1 each Back-illuminated, deep-depletion CCD, 1340 x 400 pixels P/N: SPEC-10:400BR/LN, 1 each Acton Spectrograph and Monochromator includes: 750mm focal length, micrometer controlled entrance slit, triple grating turrent, two exit ports, one with CCD flange and one with slit, silver coated optics P/N: SP2758, 1 each LN USB2 Controller P/N: ST-133B/U-LN-100K-1M, 1 each Scientific Imaging ToolKit for LabView P/N: SITK-Advanced-LabView, 1 each LN detector nose P/N: 388-MNT-LN-SHUT, 1 each Extra front entrance slit, motorized entrance mirror P/N: OPTION-9N, 3 each Protected Silver Coating, single grating P/N:SP-G-SILVER, 1 each Ruled Grating, 68x68mm, 1200 G/mm with 750nm blaze wavelength P/N: 750-1-120-750, 1 each Ruled Grating, 68x68mm, 600 G/mm with 1 unit of measure blaze wavelength P/N: 750-1-060-1, 1 each Ruled Grating, 68x68mm, 150 G/mm with 800nm blaze wavelength P/N: 750-1-015-800, 1 each Protected Silver Coating on all instrument mirrors P/N: SP-SILVERCOATING. (Microsoft IE required). Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source is based on equipment being compatible to Princeton Instruments. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DOD(s) Central Contractor Registration database.
