- The work includes the tasks for upgrading Compressed Air, Hot/Chilled/Condensing Water Systems. 1.1 - Compressed Air System: 1.1.1 - Air Compressors Replace three existing site air compressors with two new oil free compressor systems (oil free compressor, receivers, desiccant dryer, final filter and flow sensor) as specified and procured by the University. Relocate two of the existing compressors to remote parts of the site (near sector 0 of the LINAC and building 760 area) for redundancy. 1.1.2 - Compressed Air Piping Furnish and install a new CA piping system, replace all of the buried 4" and larger piping, replace the 2" PEP ring piping, and other areas identified as failed. Install additional isolation valves in the existing. 1.2 - Hot/Chilled/Condensing Water Systems: 1.2.1 - Civil/Structural Requirements Furnish and install piping support and anchoring for above-ground condensing water piping at B023.   1.2.2 - Mechanical Requirements Replace sections of chilled water and hot water piping system. This is a presolicitation not a RFQ/RFP. The RFQ/RFP will be issued in the near future. If interested in receiving the RFQ/RFP then you must identify yourself as an interested vendor.
