- Sole Source - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - PR # F3K4BD9299A001 DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement to purchase GE XR Precision 500D. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive quotes. 45 CONS/LGCB, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 intends to award to General Electric Healthcare 3000 N. Grandview Blvd, W443, Maukesha, WI 53188-1615. General Electric Healthcare is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement and that can also provide the trained service personnel, proprietary service manuals, replacement parts, and the need for special tools and computer interface equipment. OEM replacement parts, specialized tools, and/or computer software license/updates are needed to repair, service, and maintain this system. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that General Electric Healthcare is the only source capable of providing this requirement. However, the government will consider any responses from sources capable of providing THIS EXACT ITEM received within 10 days after date of publication of this solicitation. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-38 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20091229.
