Description
Diagnostic Radiology PhysicianPortland VA Medical Center The Portland (Oregon) U.S. Veterans Administration Medical Center (PVAMC) is seeking one part-time, as needed, local, contract Diagnostic Radiology Physician to provide professional services to PVAMC Imaging Division. This is not an agency locum tenens solicitation. Contract physicians must be board certified in radiology and skilled in protocol and interpretation of diagnostic images; reviews requests for x-ray' nuclear radiology; ultrasound; Computerized Tomography (CT); Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA); fluoroscopy; tomography and other diagnostic imaging procedures. In addition, shall also determine the appropriateness of requested procedures, determine the need for referral of cases that are not within local capability, confer with clinical staff regarding diagnoses of cases and provide instruction to radiology personnel (including Residents and Fellows) in desired techniques, positions and projections and interpretation of images. All contract physicians must be board certified and will be required to complete application and provide information to complete the credentialing and privileging process through the VA. Please see full Statement of Work in attached solicitation #VA-260-10-RQ-0377. All work will be performed the Portland VA Medical center, Portland Oregon. The anticipated start date of this contract is March 1, 2010. The term of the contract will be for a base year with four (4) one year options to extend at the Government's unilateral determination. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Variation in Estimated Quantities, Non-personal Healthcare contract. Only one award will be made.
