- Carlson Software 1 year 2010 MaintenanceThe work to be included is continued maintenance and upgrade services for TIPS Carlson software modules. Under this service, the vendor will supply customer technical support services and software updates through December 31, 2010. The TIPS Carlson software modules supported include 300 seats of Survey; 300 seats of Civil; 100 seats of Hydrology; 50 seats of Basic Mining; 15 seats of Field; 8 seats of Natural Regrade; 2 seats of Geology; 2 seats of Surface Mining; and 1 seat of Underground Mining. The Carlson software has been TIPS core software for over 15 years. It is used by OSM, state, and tribal professionals in support of mining and reclamation programs under SMCRA. The software is used specifically for mine permit reviews and reclamation design preparation; abandoned mine land reclamation analysis and design; and, associated mapping and presentation preparations.
