- SLAC IS NOT REQUESTING PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME. SYNOPSIS OF WORK: The following outlines the requirements for the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall and foundation and an associated utilities trench for a new Nitrogen Tank. Perform the work at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, 2575 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, San Mateo County, California. The Subcontractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to prepare for and perform the work. Major elements of work include: A. Field Survey of the location, footprint and key design points. B. Excavation of soil in preparation for the construction of tank foundation. C. Install a reinforced concrete retaining wall and its associated footing in accordance with the drawing. D. Install a pipe and utilites trench from the new retaining wall to the tie in area. E. Submittals of shop drawings, materials, detailed critical path methods project schedule, product data for all Subcontractor furnished materials, Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS) as applicable to Subcontractor furnished materials. F. Submittal of project plan regarding materials staging and rigging plan. G. Provide 2 sets of red-lined drawings of as-built conditions. To be submitted on the last day of the on-site work.
