Description: The bureau has an extensive training, support and expertise investment developed over 20 years in Trimble software and hardware and adoption of incompatible products would introduce an unwarranted re-training and support expense. In addition, state and Tribal programs, the Fish & Wildlife Services (FWS), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and industry are heavy users of Trimble products and this compatibility would be lost if incompatible products are selected.
