- The El Paso VA Health Care System on behalf of VISN 18 in the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to a firm DBA "UpToDate, Inc.' for point of care clinical reference. UpToDate, Inc. has a single search engine covering fourteen medical specialties such as Adult Primary Care and Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Womens Health, Oncology, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The database also provides drug information, drug interactions, medical calculators, patient information, identification of evidence based references as well as links to Medline abstracts. All new and revised material is supplied at no additional cost. This requirement and its award will be made with the availability of funds at that point.
