Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR AWARDED THE IDIQ CONTRACT. The Directorate of Contracting intends to issue a delivery order against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, Contract Number W91248-08-D-0001 with Rogers Group, Inc, Hopkinsville, KY 42241. The requirement is for the contractor to remove existing soil and pavement surface as required to a depth of twenty inches below the adjacent concrete. Contractor shall disk and compact underlying material to a minimum depth of six inches and 90 percent laboratory maximum dry density. Contractor shall place the following section: Place and compact ten inch thick DGA, Apply prime coat, Place and compact four inch thick asphalt binder course, Apply tack coat, Place and compact four inch thick surface course. Area is approximately one thousand and fifty square yards. Contractor shall ensure that transitions from concrete to asphalt are level. Replace taxiway marking that is interrupted during construction. The estimated quantity of taxiway marking is eighty square feet. The delivery order will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
