- This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for quote, proposal, or invitation for bid. No award will be made from this sources sought notice. No solicitation is available at this time. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Federal Business Opportunities. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for a future synopsis/solicitation, as they will not be notified. The 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB, ND is seeking small business concerns that have the following fleet of late model vehicles in their current inventory, ready for delivery and are able to rent/lease them for a period of six months after date of award: • One 29 passenger school bus • Two 16 passenger buses • Two 45 passenger school buses • Two HD ¾ ton, 4-door crew cab 4x4 pickup trucks • Two ½ ton, 4-door crew cab 4x4 pickup trucks • Thirteen Sprinter cargo vans (or approved equivalent) • One 16-foot stake bed platform truck • Three ¾ ton 4-door crew cab 4x2 pickup trucks • Three HD ¾ ton 2-door, 3-passenger 4x4 pickup trucks In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for delivery, maintenance, and if necessary, replacement of all vehicles. The NAICS code is 532120 with a small business size standard of $25.5 million. Offerors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this Sources Sought notice including commercial market information and company information via e-mail or facsimile (701-723-4172) to Nicky Bickler at nicolette.bickler@minot.af.mil no later than 3 March 2010. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address.
