Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The United States Coast Guard is performing a "Market Search" for HUBZONE concerns, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns, (SDVOSB) or for Small Business. The small business size standard is less than 1000 employees the NACIS Code is 336611. The acquisition is for DRY DOCK repairs to the USCGC MARIA BRAY (WLM-562) an 175 FOOT KEEPER-CLASS BUOY TENDER. The 175 FOOT BUOY TENDER is home ported at Atlantic Beach FL. The contractor shall perform all work at the contractor's facility. There is a onetime geographic restriction for this dry-dock availability fot a facility within 200 nautical miles (nm) total one-way (400 nautical miles round trip). The performance period will be 10 calendar days with a start date on or about March 22, 2010. The scope of the acquisition is for repairing various items aboard the USCGC MARIA BRAY (WLM-562). This work will include, but not limited to: 1. Renew seals on both Z-DRIVES, 2. Install head tank Modification-with new seals, 3. Port Z Drive Inspection and recommendation. Your response is required by March 3, 2010 at 1100 am PST. All fof the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be on a HUB-ZONE, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside or Small Business set aside. A decision on whether this will be pursued as a HUB ZONE OR SDVOSM Small Business set aside or a Small Business set aside, will be posted on the FedBizOps website at http://www.febizopps.gov.
