- RECOVERY - Supply, Deliver, and Install Energy Efficient Domestic Water Heaters at Sacramento NWRC, Willows CA 95988. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This opportunity (Task Order Proposal Request no. 10181RR191) is available, as a competitive task order, to one of the following listed contractors that were awarded the U.S. FWS Region 1 Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Alteration/Repair/Rehab/Demolition projects under the work category of construction - mechanical/electrical, identified to geographic location northern California. Only the following listed contractors will be issued a TOPR: EDL Construction, CA; Sansone Co. CA; Yerba Buena Eng. & Construction, CA; DJM Construction, CA; SM Construction, CA; Combined Effort, CA; and Cherokee General Corp., OR. This ARRA Project is to rehabilitate public use facilities by upgrading various water heaters to energy star ratings, including those servicing restrooms on the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex (NWRC) in Willows, California (Glenn County). Hot water heaters are defined as being either electric, propane, and on demand, point of use. Specific size/style/capacity and location are defined in the Statement of Work. Estimated project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the associated small business size standard is $14 million. Pricing shall be f.o.b. destination to the Sacramento NWRC, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 752 County Road 99W, Willows CA 95988-9639. This ARRA Project includes the removal and proper disposal of the existing water heater units, replacement, and installation (including all electrical and fuel connections) of new, appropriately sized energy efficient hot water heaters. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all construction, labor, materials, management, supervision and incidentals to construct a complete project suitable for the use intended. The period of performance shall be 90 dates after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The proposal response date will be 3/18/2010 at 3:00 PM (PDT). No further notice will be posted on FedBizOpps. The estimated award date is on/or before 03/31/2010. Basis for award will be Lowest Technically Acceptable Priced Proposal. After evaluation of offers is completed, the Government intends to issue a firm fixed price task order to the ID/IQ contractor (offeror) whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. All awards funded through ARRA mandate contractor reporting in accordance with FAR 52.204-11 Reporting Requirements. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted via email to N. D.
