- This solicitation is issued as a commercial item acquisition under FAR part 12. The work consists of planting approximately 2700 acres of Government Furnished tree seedlings. Multiple awards may result from this solicitation with the potential for up to 3 awards. The work is located on the following districts of the Six Rivers and Klamath National Forests: Orleans, Ukonom and Lower Trinity Ranger Districts. The units are a mix of plantations and natural stands that burned in wildfires in 2007 through 2008. Units to be planted have not been logged or had site preparation since the wildfires and contain standing dead conifers and hardwoods. See the attached solicitation for maps and descriptions. No show me trip is scheduled. Many units are accessible however some units may be covered in snow or be located behind locked gates, vendors may contact Patricia Bello at 530.627.3338 for information on access to available representative units. The solicitation is attached and the due date for the receipt of quotes is established as 2:30 pm. March 15, 2010.
