- PR: 0022542179, NSN: 5980-01-495-7388, Assembly, Head Up Approved source(s): DRS C3 Systems (12339) P/N - 00004A1401-1 Based upon market research, this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the desbribed supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a comercial item within 15 days of this notice. This requirement is for a quantity of 79 each to be delivered to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001within 240 days, with any remaining balance to be delivered at a rate of 25 each every 30 days thereafter. FOB and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination is required. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of 11March 2010. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. This is an unrestricted procurement. Various increments solicited: from 35 to 49 each; from 50 to 99 each; from 100 to 149 each. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decisiion will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
